EVENTS LIST

AUGUST TO SEPTEMBER 2009

With the weathermen predicting a scorcher of a summer we’ll be running a number of exciting children’s activities at the Nature Study Centre.  In addition to these activities we will also be offering trips and activities with our partner organisation, the Floating Classroom aboard the barge Elsdale.  So whether you’re a landlubber or have the sea legs to ‘parley’ with some like minded ships crew we have a range of activities at both sites to keep the youngsters from being bored.

Iver Dates for your diary:

29th July – ‘Puppet Making’ make you own bird, caterpillar, octopus or snake puppets and then bring them to life with some simple ‘puppeteering’ moves.

12th August – ‘Creatures from the Rainforest’ – dare you explore our rainforest and make a friendly spider to take home.

19th August – ‘Beside the Seaside’ – all the fun of the seaside including mini kites and seashell necklaces.

All sessions are two hours, 10.30am – 12.30pm and 2.00pm – 4.00pm

Costs £5.50 per child (must be accompanied)

Booking essential – 01895 270 730
